The mission of Literacy*AmeriCorps Pittsburgh is to strengthen communities by providing literacy services, organizing collaborative projects, mobilizing volunteers, and increasing awareness of social issues. We are sponsored by Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council, a national leader in adult education and family literacy.

Literacy*AmeriCorps members directly serve adults, families, and children throughout the Pittsburgh area by helping them reach their educational goals. Stick around and learn more about us.
