Bequests/Planned Giving

Make a Lasting Difference

Celebrate your passion for literacy and learning by including Greater Pittsburgh Literacy
Council in your will or estate plan. "Planned gifts" can take many forms and you can learn about some of the options by clicking here.

The most common planned gift is also the easiest to arrange. A bequest to Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council ensures that your dedication to education lives on. Simply include the following language in your will:

I hereby bequeath X% [or $X] to Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council,
a nonprofit organization located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
to be used for its general purposes [or specific program/project].

Should you choose to make this special commitment to GPLC, please give us the opportunity to thank you personally for your extraordinary support. Informing us of your intentions today also ensures that we fully understand how you would like your gift to be used.

Please contact Maria Polinsky, Director of Development, at (412) 393-7631 or to discuss your plans or learn more about this special way to support our students.
